Virebent porcelain
In 1924, Henri Virebent, from a Toulouse family of ceramic architects, opened his factory in Puy l'Evêque, in the heart of the Lot. Today, Virebent is one of the last porcelain workshops manufacturing entirely in France. Its particularity is to work the 3 main families of earth: porcelain, earthenware and stoneware using essentially 3 techniques: casting, calibration and pressing. This allows it to meet many uses and to manufacture pieces ranging from white porcelain to colored enamel pieces and even decoration. He also makes models for great French and foreign designers....
