Pierre D'Huparlac comes from a small village in the north of Aveyron. It was around the age of 12 that he began to paint. Very early on, the great masters of chiaroscuro fascinated him: for a long time he copied Georges de la Tour, Rembrandt, or Caravaggio. He also likes chiaroscuro, the work of light, the judicious mixture of tones and harmonies.
He defines himself as a visual researcher, an alchemist of color. Writing engraved in the material, readable or hidden, scratched or faded, has never ceased to impose itself in his works.
Exhibits at "l'Atelier", with the sculptor HUGO and offers public demonstrations on Sunday morning, market day in Montcuq.
