G. MIRAND
Fabien JOUVES comes from an old peasant family from the Causse. He became a winegrower in 2006 by creating the Mas del Périé on the highest slopes of Cahors. Malbec (Côt) is the king grape variety here.
Due to the location of the estate at the junction of the terroirs of the hillsides of Quercy and those of Cahors, plot selection was an obvious way to express the different facets of Malbec.
This expression of the terroir is reinforced by a bio-dynamic agriculture that respects life, plants, people and their environment.
The vinification of the grapes in the cellar is done naturally, without oenological inputs, and the accompaniment of the wine until its maturity, in concrete vats, barrels, tuns and amphorae according to its personality.
