The Lot Valley and the south of the Lot department are a favorable playground.
What is a geocache?
Geocaches are small boxes containing a logbook (a register) that you will have to sign as soon as you have discovered it (bring a pen!). You can even certify your find directly on the geocaching application once it has been downloaded to your phone.
From the western Valley sheltering vineyards traversing the slopes of the hills, to the Eastern Valley with steep and vertiginous limestone cliffs, passing by the wooded Causse of Lalbenque-Limogne, to the lands of Quercy Blanc, the caches are numerous and surprising.
The tourist office Cahors Lot Valley has thus disseminated about forty caches, to help you discover little-known places, such as remarkable sites. Locate the caches stamped OTCVL to follow the route we have imagined for you.
Whether you are walking through a small village with narrow streets, or looking for a viewpoint, geocaches are never far away!
Alone, in pairs, with friends or family, geocaching is a thrilling game that will solicit your attention and your sense of observation. Are you getting close to a geocache? Perhaps it is hidden under a stone, in the hollow of a tree, or near a fountain?
For each cache, you will be given a clue, related to its environment. So be careful, all around you may be hiding places that you will find!
So don't wait any longer, go quickly to geocaching.com, to create a profile that will allow you to access the locations of the nearest geocaches!
Registration is free, as is the application!
