Speleology in the Lot Valley and Quercy
The Lot valley and the Causses du Quercy are recognized by the most passionate as one of the dream spots for the practice of caving.
So ... Let yourself be guided in A deafening silence, where the drops of water whisper their sweet melody to you. Let yourself be charmed by the sparkling darkness, where the most beautiful concretions present themselves to your eyes. Enter this mysterious and fascinating world, through varied and fun routes or combining different disciplines, even up to transcendence in vertical cavities, in which technique rhymes with wonder.
Caving is above all the discovery of a universe that is as little known as it is captivating. Here, we take the time to observe, smell and feel this fabulous world that is under our feet. Whatever outing you do with your state-certified instructor, he will draw your attention to: this drop of water which over thousands of years has created the superb concretions that present themselves to your eyes, on the presence ofcave animals (which we respect in the calm and silence in which they are used to evolving), the why and the how of the creation of caves and other igues, ... Put on your sneakers, put on your suit and your helmet equipped with a lamp and dive into the aquatic and mineral universe of speleology.
Initiation for young and old

The great diversity of the cavities of the Lot and Quercy valley allows everyone to discover the magical world of caves.
To begin, let's go into the "horizontal" cavities. Your guide will take you cross narrow, crawling passages, mazes, … to emerge in immense rooms where water has shaped a thousand concretions.
Caving... but not only
La via corda, it is an extraordinary experience which is practiced in a vertical type cave equipped with handrails, rope bridge and other abseiling descents... A way to explore the cavity from floor to ceiling while admiring the concretions up close of their training (from 1m40).
Caving-via ferrata caving-canyoning
In the Lot valley you can mix caving-via ferrata and even caving-canyoning!
Caving in the underground river. Equipped with a neoprene suit, experience the sensations of canyoning in the sparkling darkness of a cave in the Causses du Quercy. Here, we cross waterfalls, we jump, we swim, and we let ourselves be carried by the course of the river between stalactites, stalagmites, columns and draperies. A breathtaking spectacle! Push your limits
Beneath our feet lies a fascinating mineral world waiting for you. Exploration of so-called “vertical” caves is a great way to surpass yourself by approaching a more sporty and technical side discipline.
Put on your harness and familiarize yourself with the descenders, blockers, pedal et split passes to achieve secret galleries where your efforts will be rewarded by the discovery of unsuspected gems.
