Located in St-Cirq-Lapopie, at the foot of one of the "most beautiful villages in France", this walk takes you around the meanders of the Lot.
It is a circuit where authentic hamlets and green plains take turns. The charm of the Lot valley operates especially between April and May, during the flowering of the cherry trees which sublimate the landscape.
A short break will be appreciated at the locks, where by chance a boat will cross your path.
This loop does not present any particular difficulty in terms of elevation. At the end of the circuit, and, by bike for the brave, a detour is essential to discover this medieval village St-Cirq-Lapopie.
Wear appropriate clothing, protect yourself from the sun, bring water and find out about the weather conditions.
This is a route shared with cars, although the majority of the route takes small roads, stay alert and respect the rules of the road.
