This circuit invites you through its different stages, to go back to medieval times but also to discover wild landscapes, natural sites or cultivated by the vine.
The church of Cabanac is one of the jewels of simplicity which flourished during the Romanesque period. A miniature cemetery planted with cypresses, a bell tower, a soberly beautiful nave: everything here invites contemplation.
Go equipped with suitable shoes and waterproof clothing, protect yourself from the sun, bring water and find out about the weather conditions.
Facing the Cabanac church, go right for 50 m. Take the road to the right. At the bend, go straight on the dirt road.
Take the road to the right. Go to the “Combe de Gaby”, pass in front of a small fountain.
200 m further on, leave the GR® to turn left onto a path. Go up to a well marked dirt road which you will take to the left. Join a ridge road and follow it to the left for 50 m.
Turn immediately right towards "Saby".
Arriving at the hamlet, go around the Saby farm and continue on the shaded path which rises gently for 1 km. Turn right then left to return to the starting point.
