Departing from the Récollets church, this sports circuit takes you to the towns of Laroque des Arcs, Valroufié, Lamagdelaine and offers you a palette of landscapes, sensations and emotions.
Likely created in the first century AD, the ancient aqueduct of Cahors captures water from a source upstream of the Vers, to transport it over 32 km to the Gallo-Roman city of Divona Cadurcorum, which will later become the town of Cahors.
Go equipped with suitable shoes and waterproof clothing, protect yourself from the sun, bring water and find out about the weather conditions. Delicate descent on the way back to the Saint Roch chapel between 7 and D.
Start from Place du Coq, walk along the old Récollets church. Cross the stream and walk along the sports ground to reach the road and turn left. Continue for 100 m, leaving the "Les Cabasses" path on your right.
Climb up the shady path to the right along a wall. After 1 km of ascent on the hillside leading to the “Pech de Coutal” plateau; take the path which is on a long "cayrou" (pile of stones) for about 1 km.
Arrive at a crossroads, turn right and join the D 7 and the village of Constant.
After the roundabout, follow the road straight for 200 m, take the stairs on your right and cross the landscaped area to find the road leading to Lagarde.
Cross the hamlet. At the exit, take a dirt road to the right towards the Combe de Nouaillac. Descend towards the valley, arrive at a site overlooking the Triguedina stream. Rejoin the path to continue your descent until you cross a boxwood tunnel. Continue to join a stone path and at the crossroads, turn left. At the next intersection turn right.
Leave this path to take the direction of the hamlet of “Miralasse” uphill. Arrive at the road, turn left towards “Bassaler”. Take the path on your right. Pass under the motorway tunnel, leave the path on the left and go up towards “Mels”. At the road, turn left to reach the village square.
Go on your right between the houses. Continue this path which climbs towards a telecom antenna. Follow this path to reach the abandoned hamlet of “Pountiès”. Arrive at a crossroads, continue by turning right.
Continue on the path, carefully descend (slippery path) towards the Saint-Roch chapel and finish your hike by reaching the village.
