Discover the natural heritage of the Causses du Quercy and enjoy an unusual view of the village of St Cirq Lapopie.
From the chapel, take the Chemin des Brigands (sign). At first, the path merges with the Stations of the Cross going up to the Sainte-Croix chapel. After a few minutes of moderate ascent, you arrive at a crossroads. Continue your ascent then to the right following the Stations of the Cross, up to the chapel, from where the view is magnificent.
Return to the road and cross to take the track that climbs opposite. After 200 m, leave this track to take a path to the right, flat in the forest and continue to the crossroads of the Stations of the Cross. Then take the path from the beginning to find the starting point.
Continue the path and you arrive on a paved road which must be followed for less than 100 m to leave it for a path that descends to the left into the forest. After a few minutes of descent, at a crossroads, continue to the left. The path follows the bottom of a very beautiful wooded valley.
At the bottom of the combe, you arrive on the D42, cross it to take the path opposite. When you get to the road, turn right. You notice in the rocky slope on the left a small cave entrance (impenetrable). Immediately after, the road bends to the left. Leave it to go right towards the sign for the belvedere of the Cirque de Vènes.
