Véloroute La Vallée du Lot à vélo

The Véloroute La Vallée du Lot à vélo is a major tourist route of 430 km marked out, starting at La Canourgue in Lozère and joining Aiguillon in Lot et Garonne; it connects to this place the Véloroute des 2 mers.

In its Lot part, the Véloroute enters the department at St Pierre Toirac then joins Cajarc before taking a small road that follows the meanders of the Lot to St Cirq Lapopie. Here it leaves the Lot river to climb on the causse and reach Cahors by an open plateau road. The route finds the Lot at the level ofArcambal and Cahors. From there it goes into the plain of the AOC vineyard of Cahors on flatter landscapes to Soturac.
