Historic site and monument

Eglise de la Chaire-de-Saint-Pierre

The small village is dominated by the imposing silhouette of the church. The building dates from the beginning of the 13th century, however the staircase tower, the chapels and the vaulting are from the 16th century. The facade dates from the 17th or 18th century.
In 1749, Antoine de Testard de Folmont wanted to make repairs there and it was his nephew, Monsieur de Folmont, who carried them out, in particular the rich dressing of the choir in white marble from Italy. The tombs built outside the portal are those of the benefactors of the building.
