Maison André Breton : Centre international du surréalisme et de la citoyenneté mondiale
This fortified house with Gothic windows is the oldest inhabited building in the village with a XNUMXth century tower. It was once the home of the writer André Breton, who came to spend every summer at the end of his life in the company of surrealist artists.
The house now hosts the International Center of Surrealism and reveals a visitor's journey in direct line with the thought of the poet: thematic exhibition spaces, hanging gardens, associative café, Librotech, artists' residences, university research center.
The artistic journey is also made through 3 other places: the Rignault house, the Fourdonne room and the Lespañol house.
