Created in 1833 and installed in the former Concordat episcopal palace of Cahors, the museum presents the work of the neo-impressionist painter Henri Martin, and houses collections relating to archaeology, ethnography, history and fine arts. Each year, exhibitions are organized there: thematic or monographic by invited artists, recognized or to be discovered.
Entirely renovated, it enhances the Henri Martin collection with a modern and sober scenography. Other collections are also highlighted: works by artists from Quercy, monumental archaeological pieces, Léon Gambetta funds… .
