Year of Denmark in Cahors

The Tour de France leaves on July 1, 2022 from Copenhagen. This 109th edition of this international cycling meeting will also stop in Cahors on July 22. In addition, the Henri-Martin museum, which reopens its doors in a completely renovated contemporary setting, welcomes from July 15 a selection of the works of Her Majesty Queen Margrethe of Denmark on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of her reign. This exceptional exhibition will be open to the public until March 5, 2023.

With these two major events and the historical links that unite the Lot department to the Kingdom of Denmark, it seemed obvious to make 2022 a year dedicated to Denmark in Cahors, the opportunity to offer a wide range of events to residents and visitors who come each year to enjoy the exceptional setting offered by our beautiful territory.

History, literature, gastronomy, live performance... this plural program mobilizes the actors of the territory and the services of our communities, from spring 2022 to spring 2023.

Happy Danish New Year to all!
