Lot of Flavors Festival

Lot of Saveurs is a food festival taking place in Cahors and in the municipalities of Grand Cahors. On the occasion of various festive proposals, it promotes Lotoise flavors and all of its players. Each year, it invites gourmets, locals, tourists and the curious to discover gastronomy in all its art for a weekend, at the beginning of July, in Cahors ! The party then continues throughout the summer in the towns of Grand Cahors during the weekly gourmet markets.

Created in 2009 by the Grand Cahors, Lot of Saveurs was born from a wish: to celebrate what makes the reputation of our territory – its gastronomy – thanks to a popular, festive and creative event. Over the years, Lot of Saveurs has met with strong support from the public and partners by offering each edition an enriched program which makes it possible to celebrate local gastronomy throughout the territory of the Grand Cahors. Summer gourmets from all walks of life, great chefs from the Lot region, certified local producers and artists come together thanks to numerous events that celebrate our gastronomic heritage.

Over the years, Lot of Saveurs has been awarded numerous awards such as the label of the French Commission for UNESCO (in 2011) or the eco-responsible event label awarded by Syded (2019 and 2022). The festival has also been referenced as part of the "Year of Gastronomy" program, carried in 2022 by the government and the network of CCIs in France.

Programme

After a recovery edition in 2022, Lot of Saveurs will once again take place in the Cadurcian city from June 28 to July 02, in the presence of Emmanuelle Jary. The famous culinary journalist (It's better when it's good), will be present as godmother of the festival, accompanied by Mathieu Pansard, second member of this duo of culinary explorers. The latter will share the poster with Safran du Quercy, red gold from the Lot lands, star product of the 2023 edition. The famous crocus and its stigmata will be discovered in all their forms during the various activities of the festival...

A grand banquet, chef's meal or even brunch will be on the menu for this new edition, which will once again give pride of place to the actors of Lot gastronomy. The village will put the agricultural sectors of labeled products from the Lot in the spotlight and will host a real outdoor kitchen! Unprecedented events will take place there and will invite the public to take their place behind the stoves...

Lot of Saveurs will still be able to count on its loyal partners such as the Committee for the Promotion of Lot Products, the chefs of the Good Tables of the Lot, the Artisans du goûtois lotois or the Interprofessional Union of Wines of Cahors among others!

After this weekend of festivities, the party will then continue all summer on the occasion of 7 gourmet markets!
