Departing from the heart of the Lot Valley and the Vineyard, by mountain bike, VTTAE, these 5 days will lead you to discover our superb landscapes and medieval villages via our most beautiful paths and scenic trails. For your accommodation, 4 holiday villages or campsites are located within a 6 km radius + numerous gîtes. For camper vans and tents, choose Camping des Vignes located 3 km away. Day 1: Châteaux and Bastides You will begin your stay in Lot, with a short getaway in Lot et Garonne to discover the Château de Bonaguil, return to our valley via the Bastide de Montcabrier, with refreshments from the winegrowers at the Domaine de Cause and Château Calassou. Catering possible in Bonaguil. Difficulties: good elevation changes, technical passages. (Passage of part of Voie Verte, bridge Touzac under construction) Max Distance: 70 Km for 1445 m of D+

Day 2: The Chemins de Montcuq (departure from Puy l’Evêque) After a passage to BELAYE, a superb village perched above the Lot with a breathtaking view, you will travel the paths of Quercy Blanc, the most courageous will discover MONTCUQ made famous by Pierre Bonte in the Petit Rapporteur, without forgetting Nino Ferrer who chooses to settle there for the beauty of the site, after the singles which dominate Le Boulve, to finish a last refreshment in the cellar of Château Chambert. Catering possible in Montcuq Difficulties: driving, technical passages. Maximum distance 86 km for 1630 m of elevation gain

Day 3: La Bouriane (departure from Puy l'Evêque) You will take multiple paths between low stone walls to discover this wooded region of chestnut trees, passing through PRAYSSAC, the most beautiful market in Midi-Pyrénées (2019), then into the dolmen sector before joining Les ARQUES where you can discover the museum of the sculptor Zadkine. The longest routes will take you to SALVIAC, from where the bravest can do a 20 km loop, passing through the New Abbey of LEOBARD. Catering possible in Salviac & Cazals Difficulties: rolling, elevation, technical passages, distances. Maximum distance 107 km for 2550 m of D+

Day 4: Les Chemins des Vins (departure from Luzech) You cannot come to the Lot valley without walking through the vineyards of Cahors. At the start you will take the old railway tunnel which will allow you to access the cliffs which surround this valley from where you will discover the most beautiful views of the vineyard. For your first refreshment you will be welcomed at the Domaine du Clos de la Pougette, then head towards the vines of the plateau via Sauzet, then return to Luzech via the PARNAC cooperative cellar for your last refueling. Catering possible at Sauzet. Difficulties: narrow paths, technical and rocky passages, some good elevation changes. Maximum distance 82 km for 1210 m of D+

Day 5: The Gardens of Marquayrol For this last day, a short tour through the surrounding valleys, after leaving the Lot valley via Castelfranc, direction the Vert valley for your first refreshment at Labastide du Vert where you can discover in the former property of the painter Henri Martin "Les Jardins de Marquayrol", once refreshed you go up to the Causse du Cluzel to go down to the valley of La Masse au Junies, then you will join "les Monteils" for a refreshment, then the Château du Théron which overlooks Prayssac before the final descent towards Puy l'Evêque for the end of this adventure. Difficulties, technical trails, height differences, descents. Maximum distance 60 km for 1250 m of elevation gain
