Lalbenque celebrates Christmas

The Town Hall of Lalbenque and the associations are mobilizing to offer you a magical Christmas.

Christmas market, Advent calendar, Merchant Christmas, hikes, Christmas parade, drawing contest, storytelling mornings, and many other surprises!

A beautiful morning is planned in Lalbenque, on the eve of Christmas: Saturday December 24, 2022, an exceptional truffle market will open at 10 a.m., rue du Marché aux Truffes in front of the town hall.

To celebrate Christmas, the municipality of Lalbenque and the association of truffle growers from the canton of Lalbenque and the Causses du Quercy are organizing a truffle market this Saturday, an opportunity to have fun on New Year's Eve. At 10 a.m., the sale of the precious black diamond can begin. For the youngest, a free culinary workshop is planned at the Halle de la Mairie. Children from 7 to 12 years old are expected for a cooking class allowing them to prepare Tuber Melanosporum. To register, simply call 06 07 79 52 11. Please note that the number of places is limited and reservations are required.

Until 11:30 a.m., Santa Claus will be waiting for the children. They will thus be able to leave with their culinary production and a souvenir photo in his company before he leaves the capital of black truffles to make his rounds.
