With all this current political and media nonsense coming to us from across the Atlantic, we end up forgetting that the United States was the heart of "groove" music.
From the birth of jazz, at the beginning of the last century, to the latest hip hop, "America" was the ambassador of THE country where the whole world could meet, hear each other, appreciate each other, mix... acting as a magnet for creativity and stimulating the audacity of musicians; two other major currents of groove were born there: salsa and funk.
Now, every magnet has two faces; one attracts, the other repels... It seemed appropriate to us to suggest to our North American friends: "Make America GROOVE Again" (please!).
For this evening, the sextet offers you a cleverly balanced program of Latin music, funk and jazz intertwined.
In a word: GROOVE!
