Country of Art and History: One day the earth: Words from the Causse

The Pays d'art et d'histoire presents this exhibition in Carennac, from Saturday April 16 to Sunday August 28.
One day the earth: Words from the Causse
This exhibition, taken from the eponymous book, reveals the portrait of a generation, of men and women attached to their stony land and whose existence is punctuated by the seasons. For several years, Nicolas Teindas and Sylvain Marchou knocked on their door, crossed the thresholds of their house. Nicolas collects their testimonies and delivers these words of the Causse that sublimate the black and white photographs of Sylvain. It's a snapshot of human life, the daily life of these elders who have become sentinels of the Causse.
