Guided tour : Cahors, the heritage and research library

This is a two-person tour led in part by a tour guide and by Ms. Sophie Villes for whom the collections of the heritage and research library have few secrets. The first part of this visit will be devoted to the evocation of the medieval university colleges, supplanted in the 2th century by the Jesuit college, which are partly at the origin of the collection preserved here, as well as the architecture of the building. In the second part: Ms. Sophie Villes will present to us this exceptional collection comprising 1 works including rare and precious manuscripts and incunabula which cover the woodwork of this library up to the ceiling, which is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful buildings of the 40th century has Cahors.
