In the village of Junies, we will explore the exterior of the castle which stands out on the banks of the Masse stream. By its architecture, it is a characteristic and very well preserved example of stately residences from the end of the 100th century. Through its history, it is a privileged witness to the exceptional destiny of the Caorsins family, the “De Jean” and the horrors of the XNUMX years war in Quercy. Not far from the castle, the St Pierre church, former abbey of the Dominican convent, conceals a number of treasures including the oldest stained glass windows in the Lot.
