Espace d’Art Roger Gobron

Jean-Noël and Charmian welcome you to the Espace d'Art, located in the priory of Trégoux, a hamlet halfway between Concots et Crégols. We find there the work of the Belgian painter Roger Gobron. Born in 1899 in Brussels, Gobron was particularly influenced by the expressionist movement which he succeeded in integrating into his watercolours. Permanent exhibition of works and presentation of films on the life and work of the painter and his wife – the poet Marie-Jo Gobron (1916-2008) – who was the sister-in-law of the famous poet Maurice Carême. There are also collections of poems, the monograph and catalog of works, DVDs and photographs of filmmaker Jean-Noël Gobron. Visits only by appointment
