A visit is offered to you:
Discover Saint-Cirq Lapopie, Wonderfully intact medieval village, which hugs the rock face 100 meters above the river. It was also elected “French favorite village” and labeled “Most beautiful villages in France”. This guided tour allows you to meet the most emblematic buildings and places of history and heritage.
From the ruins of the fortified castle to the church via the old houses, the village of Saint-Cirq Lapopie delivers numerous architectural testimonies within easy reach and numerous tactile building elements for a discovery of the history and heritage of this village, in perfect harmony with the needs and expectations of the visually impaired and blind.
Cahors ou Saint-Cirq Lapopie
Two visits are offered to you:
- À Cahors, the medieval city is transformed into a playground and experimentation time for a visit adapted to the cognitive handicap. Visitors will let themselves be guided by their guide and their five senses, throughout this fun and participatory visit, to discover the remarkable heritage of the historic center of Cahors, “City of art and history”.
- À Saint-Cirq Lapopie, a medieval village labeled as one of the “Most beautiful villages in France”, the winding streets offer many opportunities to discover the heritage. Visitors then become active participants, through the deduction, observation and sensory games that punctuate the 2 hours of discovery of this village and its heritage
