Bike ride in the vineyard

The best way to discover the vineyard of Cahors is on a bike following the Lot Valley V86 cycle route on the part Cahors – Soturac (67km). It is relatively flat, crosses villages of character, passes between the vines of the vineyard of Cahors and follows the meanders of the Lot river.
Many wine estates are located along the cycle route, take the opportunity to discover wines made with love by men and women passionate about their profession and their terroir.

This stage, by bike, can be done over several days. On the cycle route map, you will find the Accueil Vélo accommodations.
From the train station Cahors to join the cycle route via the Valentré bridge.
It then crosses the villages of Pradines, Douelle, Parnac, Luzech, Albas, Bélaye, Puy-l’Evêque to finish with a section of greenway between Puy-l’Evêque and Soturac (7,5 km).
Bus drivers do not always accept bicycles on board their vehicles, the return on Cahors must be done by the same route. If you rent a bike from a bike rental company, there may be a possibility of arranging with him to come and collect the bikes at the end of your excursion.
(Regulations for liO coaches: Unfolded bicycles will be placed in the hold only if the available space allows it and if the vehicle has the possibility of stopping at specific facilities in order to load safely)
