The Quality Tourism brand

The Qualité Tourisme™ brand is the only state brand awarded to tourism professionals for the quality of their welcome and their services.
Engaging in a process to obtain the Quality Tourism mark means wanting to engage in a process of continuous improvement, questioning and customer satisfaction.
Qualité Tourisme™ covers the entire tourist reception chain: hotels, tourist residences, holiday villages, campsites, restaurants, bed and breakfasts, cafés and brasseries, seasonal rental agencies, Tourist offices, places to visit, sports and leisure activities...
Qualité Tourisme™ represents for you a sign of national recognition which enhances your welcome and your quality services, and which allows tourists to choose your establishment with confidence.
The Occitanie region has declined this brand with the Quality Tourism Occitanie Sud de France label. This label is accessible to the same sectors of activity as the national level but also includes winegrowers.
To obtain the Tourism Quality Mark, a candidate establishment:
- Must subscribe to the values of the Brand and commit to:
- A warm welcome
- Attentive staff
- Fluency in foreign languages
- Personalized services
- Clear and precise information
- Guaranteed cleanliness and comfort
- Discovering a destination
- Consideration of your opinion
- Be classified if the regulatory classification exists for the activity (Hotels, Tourist residences, Tourist offices, etc.)
- Set up a customer service (processing of complaints, satisfaction questionnaire, analysis of e-reputation, etc.)
- Be audited on the basis of national benchmarks (between 250 and 600 evaluation criteria) by an external and independent firm on a regular basis (3 or 5 years)
- Achieve a high level of performance during this audit carried out as a mystery shopper (minimum score of 85%)
How to benefit from the brand?
- I check that I respect the prerequisites of the sector
- I participate in a preparation workshop (at a distance), led by the region: during this workshop, I learn about the Quality Tourism criteria and I self-evaluate.
- Following my self-assessment and my results:
- > at 85%: you can apply for the external audit
- < 85%: a free follow-up is offered to you by a specialized firm: it accompanies you to set up the necessary actions
- External audit: a mystery shopper tests your services and verifies compliance with the criteria of the Tourism Quality grid. Following the visit, a detailed report is sent to you and validates your brand and/or label if 85% of the criteria are met.
- Passage in commission and obtaining the label for 5 years
How much does it cost ?
€150 for registration and application fees, as the Occitanie region covers the audit costs.

Obtaining the Qualité Tourisme brand and its regional version of Qualité Tourisme Occitanie Sud de France allows you to:
- Recognition of your quality of welcome and services
- Promotion on the departmental and regional website
- A communication kit at your disposal
- Access to free progress workshops
- Access to webinars, personalized diagnostics, personalized support
