The tourist office Cahors Vallée du Lot is committed from 2021, as are the other Tourist Offices in the department and Lot Tourisme, in a CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) approach.

This commitment is reflected in:

Supporting our service providers in the transition to more responsible and sustainable tourism.

The support of the OTCVL in 4 points:

It is offered to our socio-professionals.
A ½ day appointment is made on site.
The inventory of the actions implemented is carried out using a grid of criteria covering the following themes: management of water, energy, waste, purchasing, biodiversity, communication, food & social.
At the end of this discussion time, a visit report is drawn up: it must be a working tool for continuous improvement.

Highlight your commitments in your daily activity (customers, employees, communication).
Act economically and ethically on expenditure items.
Be a first step towards a possible labeling (ex: Clef Verte).

We want to promote your commitments and actions, at the level of the Tourist Office and the Lot destination, through a dedicated page on our website and the distribution of newsletters (once all the essential criteria of the reference system have been validated).
We are committed to creating networking between you through the realization of educational tours between service providers and coffee-meetings.
