2nd edition of the International Accordion Festival

With the International Accordion Festival which will take place on Pentecost weekend in Albas, the Triple A association presents a unique cultural offer in the Lot.

The second edition of the festival will welcome, among others, musicians like Thierry Roques, child of the Lot and godfather of the festival, Michel Macias, IZADORA, Arnaud Méthivier and the group ZDRAVEI.

Austrian accordionist Otto Lechner, who is the guest of honor, participates in all three days of the festival. Otto Lechner is today considered an international reference when it comes to the accordion.

A master class with Thierry Roques, Otto Lechner, Arnaud Méthivier and Michel Macias will take place over these three days.

Through a rich and varied program, this festival promotes the diversity of sounds and cultures that vibrate to the sound of the accordion, beyond borders and musical styles. All concerts are free entry (except the students' concert on Sunday evening at the church ofAlbas).

During the festival, Albas opens its cellars to artisans and artists from the Lot to present their profession and their works. Accordion makers and an accordion bookstore will also be on site. Also on the program: an accordion pétanque tournament and activities for children.
