Conference: “The Gallic Oppida”

The SLRU association of OC for the maintenance and development of the Gallic oppidum of Luzech welcomes with the Fédération Fromementale des Oppida Cadurques (FDOC), the speaker Jean Loup FLOUEST, archaeologist and former head of the excavations of the oppidum of BIBRACTE.

Program

The theme of the conference concerns the oppida in Gaul of which everyone knows ALESIA or even GERGOVIA, and the most initiated AVARICUM. What definition should we give? What role did they play? Where to position them?

The conference organized on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of SLRU d'OC will be followed by a friendly drink.
