Festival of Castelfranc

For the 2024 edition of the Castelfranc festival, we are going to take a leap in time!
In this very special year which will see a village monument disappear, we wanted to pay him a last tribute!
The famous Castelfranc iron bridge, the one we proudly feature on our logo, will be dismantled and then replaced at the end of the year.
So, you know us, we are going to do things well and we are going to take you on a journey to different eras, all of which will have known this bridge!

Program

Wednesday August 14: 2000s evening
The big part of this party, the favorite evening of the participants, the most dreaded for the volunteers behind the bar! A program that even Ecaussysteme could envy:
- 19:00 p.m.: Launch of hostilities with the Marché Gourmand, enough sustenance to resist what comes next.
- 19:00 p.m.: Dede's Banda regulars will come and liven up the village square to get in shape and warm up for what's to come.
- 22:00 p.m.: The moment that makes young and old alike dream, the torchlight retreat guided by Dedes Banda which will start on the square.
- 22:30 p.m.: Into the dark night which will not remain dark for long on the banks of the Lot where the legendary fireworks display will await you (free of course).
- 23:00 p.m.: After having had your eyes full, you will be amazed with a 2000s evening hosted by Jordan who is starting to know Castelfranc like the back of his hand.

Friday August 16: Village meal
After last year's success, we had to offer you a new lottery for this 2024 edition! We'll tell you more very soon
On the other hand, what is certain is the timeless dancing meal. Again, we take inspiration from what you liked in past years and we give you a summary of it! Meet from 19:00 p.m. on the square to taste:
- Starter: Who says summer says melon, who says melon says ham
- Dish: At this level, we are talking about tradition, the aligot will obviously be the star of this meal one more year
- Cheese: We highlight what we know how to do best in the Lot, Rocamadour
- Dessert: We still leave ourselves a little time to know how to conclude this feast
All with aperitif, red wine and coffee included for the price of 19€. Regal no?
Last year, they created an atmosphere that we hadn't seen since Woodstock, Quercy Mélodie will be back to host the meal and will play extra time for the more cheerful people! Reservations will be made at the Castelfranc Town Hall or online via a link that we will communicate to you very soon!
