Deputy director of the Ecology of Natural and Anthropized Hydrosystems laboratory, he also teaches at the University and ENS of Lyon.
A feeling of deja vu? Gilles is a member of the scientific council for excavations within the Causses du Quercy UNESCO Global Geopark. He is present every summer in the region during the annual paleontological excavation campaign, during which he gives conferences co-organized by the Quercy phosphate industry association.
