Domaine Campoy

Domaine Campoy is located in the commune of Flaujac-Poujols, 10 km south of Cahors. It was in 2001 that Christophe CAMPOY decided to replant vines on the land that had belonged to his family for several generations. After deforestation and re-cultivation, he planted one hectare of AOC in 2005. Cahors of Malbec grape variety and in 2007 half a hectare of Chenin grape variety. In 2008, he also cultivated a 20-year-old vine located in the neighboring commune and in 2013 another 30-year-old vine located in a hamlet of Flaujac-Poujols. The Vineyard is located on a limestone plateau in the Causses du Quercy Regional Natural Park, at an altitude of 280 meters, isolated, in the far east of the AOC zone Cahors.
