Practicing climbing outdoors means disconnecting from one world to meet (or rediscover) another, essential, that of nature. Immerse yourself in these spaces in the open air, you will be intoxicated. Measure yourself against the limestone immensities, you will more than once be speechless before their majesty. Contemplate the landscape offered from the highest point of your ascent, you will see, it is worth the detour. Practice while respecting the entire ecosystem that is agitated around you, observe, enjoy... And then, from the ostentatious minerality to the more intimate site, everyone will find their account and their style, on the cliffs of the Lot valley.
Coming from Bordeaux, the first site encountered is that of Montcabrier. From Toulouse, push further north, after Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val (Tarn-et-Garonne), you will almost come face to face with the cliffs ofArcambal, Saint-Géry, Vers or even Cuzouls, in the heart of Causses du Quercy Regional Natural Park.
All of the Lot's natural climbing sites benefit from the emulation of a whole team of motivated volunteers, supported by the CT46FFME. Their action consists of equipping new routes and maintaining older ones. In addition to the topo, an essential tool for independent practice, you will find all the news, alerts and developments in the different sectors, online, on the website of the Territorial Committee.
