Roman OT Cahors SCL

This parish church in the Badernes district, of very old foundation, takes its name from a bishop of Cahors of the sixth century. Its construction is the result of several periods ranging from the XNUMXth to the XNUMXth century.

The Romanesque portal with billets, whose presence can be guessed on the south wall, was probably abandoned at the beginning of the XNUMXth century in favor of the large arched portal open on the west wall.
The latter, bordered by niches with statues and a frieze of rather crude foliage, presents a medieval statue of the Virgin and Child, partly reworked.
