The idea of ​​a Tuscan garden within the ancient episcopal city ofAlbas came naturally. In the middle Ages, Albas came under the influence of Bishop Antoine de Luzech. Who, during his frequent stays in Italy, notably in Florence, introduced architectural elements from the Italian Renaissance in the castles, churches and cloisters that he erected along the Lot valley.
Initiated by the association Albas Heritage animated by the writer Jean-Pierre Alaux, and beautifully lit in the evening, this garden overlooking the river, below the Episcopal Palace (the current town hall), is a place of contemplation, meditation and entertainment. , hosting concerts and conferences.
