Cafés-meetings
Initiated in 2022 and building on their success, the Cafés-rencontres are now essential in the programming of events!
This time of discussion at a service provider where we discuss a topical theme together over a coffee is ideal for networking...
Interesting ! What does it consist of ?
- Small tour of the owner: visit of the service provider who welcomes us
- Who is who ? : round table of participants
- Brainstorming on the theme of the day
- Practical-practical: presentation of the essential points by a member of the Tourist Office team or an external person.
- We are still chatting: hot exchanges and returns.
Where when how ?
You will receive an invitation by email presenting each café-rencontre (location and theme), with the link for online registration. Everything is free!
The OTCVL Leaflet Exchange
A key date for the pre-season, the Document Exchange is an opportunity to distribute your brochures in order to make your activity better known and to take away the documentation of the colleagues present and that of the Tourist Office.
In summary, friendliness and exchanges with service providers in the territory and the OT team… always around a coffee!

Wine events
The socio-professional center supports winegrowers in the development and qualification of their wine tourism offer through various actions: coffee meetings, training courses such as welcoming English-speaking visitors to the estate, field visits to meet the winegrowers, discover their offer wine tourism and support them in their projects (communication, reception, organization of visits, etc.).
Wine tourism activities are also set up during the high tourist season, aimed at the general public: during the summer, tastings are organized at the Puy-l'Évêque - Vinoltis tourist office during which the winegrowers introduce their wines to visitors. At the same time, it is possible to taste several wines from the vineyards of Cahors thanks to Enomatics. These two services aim to promote the vineyard, the winegrowers, their know-how and their products.
The OT documentation delivery tour
Since 2022, the OT has been delivering OT and ADT documentation to our service providers in the territory.
Who do we ship to?
Hotels, campsites & holiday villages, sites for visits & leisure activities not having been able to make it to the Stock Exchange for March leaflets.
When are we coming to your house?
In 2024, our team members will deliver to you between March 25 and 29.
Depending on your needs, we carry out a restocking tour during the summer.
The annual meeting of the OT
Every year, in March, we invite you to the launch of the tourist season, in the presence of the whole team of the Tourist Office Cahors Lot Valley!
The news of the territory & the actions of the OT are presented to you and the time of exchange continues around an aperitif.
No edition in 2024: the season launch will take place during the Stock Exchange with a friendly aperitif to discuss local news.
Tuesday, March 19 from 18 p.m. to 19:30 p.m., at The Prade of Pradines.

As tourism providers, you are the premiers prescribers of our destination. This is a good way to discover these OT services, planned all year round for individuals and by reservation for Privilege Visits (from 1 to 20 people).

The educational tours of the OT team
Every month, between November and March, the Office team sets off for a day on the road to (re)discover activity and visit sites, winegrowers or accommodation!
We are welcomed by several tourist actors for a guided tour of their activity: the ideal way to perfect our knowledge and improve our advice to visitors.
Indeed, our particularity is that each member of the team welcomes visitors in addition to our group of great travel advisors!
