“Take out your parents” circus day at Douelle

Les Cas du Cyrque awaits you from Saturday May 25 to Douelle for a day made up of workshops and a spectacular finale.
A real circus outing for the family, a time to pause, try, play, dream and tour the big top.
Plan a picnic.
A nap area will also be provided for the little ones in the vaulted room (bring mattresses).

More than 15 professionals will be there to welcome you and supervise you during the multiple workshops.
Respect of reception conditions by age groups: different places for different ages.

This project is part of the parental respite supported by the Caf du Lot and the town hall of Douelle for the provision of spaces.

Reservation is compulsory.

Program

Vaulted room (facing the church): baby area from 0 to 18 months:
- 10:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.: Reception (12 babies maximum)
- 10:30 a.m.: - 11:15 a.m.: Baby sign workshop: gestural communication associated with speech, on the theme of the circus. Hosted by Emilie from Trans'forme Oz
- 11:15 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.: Discussion time

Rural home (behind the town hall): early childhood area, from 18 months to 3 years
- 09:45 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.: Reception (20 children maximum)
- 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.: Workshop on the biggest circus for toddlers! Family circus workshop, discovery of circus objects and disciplines and its sensations. Hosted by Morgane and Lucile.

Rural home (behind the town hall): accompanying parents area
- 14:30 p.m. - 16:30 p.m.: Body and musical graphics workshop with artists from the Scom company: workshop linked to the “Trait(s)” show

Marquee at the end of the bridge: the chap'ô kids and its chill corner: early childhood area from 4 to 6 years old:
- 09:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.: Reception: 4 to 5 groups of 8 (i.e. 32 to 40 children)
-10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.: Circus workshops, acrobatics, juggling, balance, aerials. Great unpacking with the Cas du Cyrque and Grande Brasse teams.

Marquee at the end of the bridge: the chap'ô kids and its chill corner: youth area, for ages 7 and over:
- 13:30 a.m. - 14:00 a.m.: Reception: 4 to 5 groups of 10 (i.e. 40 to 50 children)
- 14:00 p.m. - 16:30 p.m.:
Circus, acrobatics, juggling, balance, aerial workshops. Great unpacking with the Cas du Cyrque and Grande Brasse teams.
“Art of falling” workshop: this is an opportunity to learn how to fall well. Through practical applications, participants are encouraged to understand falls and learn how to react to them in a safe manner. We will approach in a fun way the notions of forces and mechanics of movement, a very practical theoretical tool to turn your everyday life into moments of grace. Hosted by Doria (floor acrobat) and Guillaume (BMX), circus artists from the Artisan.es du risk company.
Large wooden games workshop and large giant cooperative game. From the most classic to the less well-known, the world of games will occupy the kids' chap'ô meadow: cooperative skis, parachute on the ground, cooperative stilts, cooperative pencil... Hosted by Loïc from Tour de Jeu.
- 16:30 p.m. - 17:30 p.m.: Everyone in the room for a big collective game, snack time and clown release.
- 18:00 p.m. - 18:35 p.m.: “Trait(s)” show, by the Scom company, for all audiences. It is a graphic circus essay inspired by the works of painters Joan Miró and Vassili Kandinsky. “Trait(s)” features a circus performer on the Cyr wheel.
