Transhumance around 2042 – A la moda del causse? – Varaire-Saint-Projet

Rural diversity
Activity, economy and employment

For this ninth day of walking, Varaire In Saint Projet, discover the rural world of Quercy and its traditional know-how.
For this last evening in the presence of a great witness, we welcome Laurence Barthe, geographer and lecturer in geography and regional planning from the University of Toulouse-Jean-Jaurès. She also joins the LISST-Dynamiques Rurale research team.

His work focuses on the analysis of territorial development policies in rural areas. It questions the governance mechanisms of these policies by observing the mechanisms of stakeholder involvement and regulation between different scales from the local scale to Europe.

More recently, the process of cooperation between rural and urban territories through territorial development policies is at the heart of these reflections.

As part of a program, the roles of municipalities and municipal elected officials in the process of local planning as well as the forms of engineering mobilized in the creation of an AFP, are an integral part of its research.

In his company, you will be able to discuss the different dynamics observable in rural areas.
