The Angel of Lazaret, a monumental bronze by the sculptor Marc Petit (born in Saint-Céré in the Lot), is placed opposite the tympanum of the north portal of the cathedral.

Following an exhibition by the sculptor at Cahors in 2014, the association "the guardians of the angel" launched a subscription to buy the angel and keep it at Cahors.
