1924 – 2024: 100 years of Virebent: Installation “The garden of the declassified”

In recent years, the wasteland surrounding the Virebent factory has taken on the appearance of a garden. And it is in this nature that the "Garden of the Déclassés" takes place: an installation paying tribute to the collaborations established in recent years with some jewels of the French art of living, such as Diptyque candles, the jeweler Cartier or even the vineyards Edmond de Rothschild.
For each of its clients, Virebent has developed special collections with a duty of excellence. This requirement goes hand in hand with the rejection of the slightest defect. And it is these “declassified” pieces which today serve as material for the elevation of totems, metaphors of a search for elevation of the material towards the object of art. Around these totems, freer shapes amuse and shed light on the creativity of the Virebent factory workshops.
